Q Why is the LS ELECTRIC America important to the LS ELECTRIC as a whole?
A LS ELECTRIC America is the main resource within LS ELECTRIC that is focused solely on developing name recognition, Sales Channel Infrastructure, and establishing new OEM direct accounts within the USA and North America. The USA Market and customer base is so different and unique when compared to all of the other LS ELECTRIC Global Market Regions. The USA product features and specifications are different than those in Korea, Europe and the rest of the world. An example is the necessity of having UL Listing as the main Compliance standard, as opposed to IEC, which is accepted by the rest of the World.
LS ELECTRIC America has a Team that understands the USA Market and has the experience and customer relationships to build the Distributor Channel that is necessary to support strong and consistent sales growth with the large diversified USA customer base

Q Please describe the top success story of the LS ELECTRIC America
A For the Industrial Controls sales team, our top channel success has been building a strong distributor channel partner in one of our largest sales territories, the South Region. Over the 3 years, Lonestar Electric has developed into a stocking distributor that services two of our key target markets in Texas, Oil & Gas and Irrigation. In 2019 Lonestar exceeded $1 million dollars in sales both in I/C and PD.
Our Top Direct Account success came with our development of a UL ANSI MV Switchgear Panel Design for the Data Center Market. We began working with SAI a local Integrator to modify the design of our IEC VCB Vacuum Circuit Breaker and utilize it to build a UL ANSI Switchgear solution. We began the project from a show lead with SAI in 2013 and when finalized the UL ANSI MV VCB/ Panel resulted in a 10 Million Dollar PO with a major Data Center Developer. (DuPont Fabros Project)

Q What is the goal of the year 2020?
A Our Goal in the Year 2020 is to continue to build our Distributor Channel. On our way to meeting our 2020 Sales Forecast number, we want to add several strong Regional/ National Distributors who have multiple local branches, to provide local stock and local support for the growing LS ELECTRIC customer base.
